Registration Procedures and Policies
(How can I pay? What if I want a refund? Where is the workshop?)

Space in this workshop is limited. We canot guarantee a space for you without prepayment.

Payment can be made in one of two ways:

1. By PayPal
PayPal is the most popular and secure on-line ordering payment system which accepts major credit cards. (You will see the PayPal "pay now" button on both the Workshop and our Shop pages. Simply on that and follow the instructions.) If you don't have a PayPal account, it's a matter of two minutes to set one up (just follow the instructions on the PayPal page).

Upon payment, you will receive a receipt from PayPal / Dancing Chiva Literary Arts via e-mail, and with this, your place in the workshop is guaranteed. You will be provided with an additional formal receipt when you arrive at the workshop.


2. By bank deposit, with a follow-up e-mail to us with your scanned deposit receipt

IMPORTANT: If you pay by bank deposit, please be sure to follow up with an e-mail to us with your scanned receipt; otherwise we will not be able to identify who made the deposit and your place in the workshop cannot be guaranteed. Be sure to include your name, address, and contact information, including e-mail, at the time of registration. We will use this to send you a reminder a few days prior to the workshop, or to let you know in the very unlikely case there is a cancellation.

Once we receive your scanned copy of the deposit slip, you will receive an email confirmation, and with this your place in the workshop is guaranteed. You will be provided with an additional formal receipt when you arrive at the workshop.


A note about taxes
All workshop registrations, without exception, are subject to IVA, which is the Mexican added value tax. We do not accept cash.


Upon registration
You will also be provided with the address of the workshop in Mexico City. It is in Coyoacán and within reasonable walking distance from two Metro stations.


Refund policy
All payments are nonrefundable but transferable. In other words, if you cannot make it to the workshop, you can send a friend to take your place.

If cancellation notice is given within 48 hours of the workshop, participants may apply the payment to a future workshop. However, participants may only use a credit once.

In the unlikely event that Dancing Chiva Literary Arts must cancel a workshop, participants may elect to either receive a full refund or apply the payment to a future workshop.
